I am seeing this situation in a different angle

At work, I despise those people who are sycophant, and they do or say anything to kiss someone's a*s. From my personal perspective, if they work hard enough, or they really have the ability to accomplish their work assignment, they needn't to do so. But from someone's advise, I had a different angle to view this person at my part time job. This lady is a single mother, and in fact, she made a lot of mistakes in the past. Because she has financial hardship, and at the same time she has raise 2 children, she gotta do whatever it take to keep this job. Maybe kissing as* is one of surviving methods she has to visit. So, I won't to be too hard on her. I just don't agree the methods she use that is all. Oh well, seeing it in a different angle probably another way to see this world.

How do you judge that one person is a sycophant? And I dont think you have get real truth about single mother. Are you senior manager in your company? and all the company manager also think the woman should be dismissed, if her financial is not hardship.Survive and raise children could become a probability reason she did that. Maybe she always interaction with others nice and kindly. she is a good habbit and courtesy.And what you said is just you imagination. So .....

Oh! you have the actual insights to see things. For survival we are act as a pure psycophant and this the stuff which is selling hot in now a days crap world and who avail this stuff are the crapest beings . To some way we each and everyone are to act to raise our interest.
But as you told in your story we should hate such kind of sycophancy and encourage people not to do so and tell them that we are ready to evaluate and reward fairly each other for merit, performance of job etc.
And its real sense of dignity and developement of a nation.
