Burritos Vs Tortillas

I was wondering if they are possibly similar or are they totally different? I saw where I could make a 'tortilla bowl' by placing them in between the bottom of a cupcake pan's underside, but I only have burritos in the house that are fairly flat and white. If I used them I'm not so sure it would work, would they kind of 'explode' in the oven like they do in the microwave when I put them in there?

Tortillas are the flatbread you use to make burritos.
They won't explode in the oven like they do in the microwave. They only blow up in the microwave because the water molecules in them are heating so quickly. It turns to steam and has nowhere to go, so the escaping steam breaks the tortilla.

hi follow the directions on the burrito package and you will do fine in the oven, if something exploded in the microwave you had
it on too long. a potato can bake in the microwave oven but if
tyou set the time too long it will explode and make a yucky'mess in your microwave oven.
