what is all about the stars next to my name..I got 5star?

what is this 5star indicate in mylot.. Can someone help me..of what benefit is this 5 star to me??

I was wondering kinda the same thing! I read the guidelines but i still do not understand about the repution thing. Do you get paid more if you get a higher number?I am quite confused.I have been a member for 3 months but i haven't noticed the little number next to my name until you mentioned it.

The number beside your name /your user activity rating) is one thing.
The number in your star (your user reputation is something else.
The number beside your name does not make any differehnce to your earnings. I have a big number and would earn the same as you even though your number is much lower BUT... the star makes a difference. The user reputation (the star) is part of the aglorithm causing users with higher star values to earn more than those with low value stars, as is explained in the FAQs.
