That is a very interesting question! Very thought engendering! On the surface, considering a promise is attached to the tithe in verse 10 and no mention of an offering is there (though there is in verse 8), one might be inclined to say the tithe. However, considering the whole of the Holy Bible and the fact we are in the "dispensation of grace," either one is acceptable provided the other is there. For example, let's say I earned $125. The tithe would be $12.50. Imo, if I round it up to $13.00 and willfully give it, this is what is acceptable. And, really what I am aiming for in my thoughts is our attitude in giving, especially for the Christian older in the Lord. Cheerful giving is more acceptable than giving grudgingly.

Tithes is the 10% while offering is something which is out of the 10% that you are willing to give in sincerity without doubts and with a heart full of thanksgiving.

Tithe is an obligation or a requirement so that blessings will flow upon your life more than your expectation. Offering is upon your discretion. Both are acceptable as long as it is heartily given. When you give your tithe it is an act of obedience and worship to our great God.

for me both of that tithe and offering, its not just for material things that we need to give, to surrender our heart, make good deeds to others, yes its really true that if your give your title you'll receive abundant blessings because you help those who are in need,we need to offer and give what is the best, not giving that's because you don't want it anymore. if you give, give the best as you can and don't expect gift in return.Give your best for the Creator who made this world.
