Too much traffic on EDSA Southbound yesterday around 5:30 pm onwards

I am now working in JP Rizal Makati and usually I am out around 5:00 pm then at home around 6:00 pm. Yeah 1 hour travel from work to home. But I noticed something strange yesterday that transportation were moving very slow. Until to the point that it was really hard to ride on the bus that I even walked from Ayala to Buendia just to ride and yeah I was standing. It was stressful traffic yesterday that it took me another 1 hour to travel so I went home around 7pm already. The traffic makes me sick. That is why because of my temper last night I just played the MMORPG to release it. I heard that there was a fire on Nichols area somewhere in Tramo Pasay City. It didn't allowed to use the flyover of EDSA Pasay that is going to Naia. While ago because I am afraid to be stuck in the traffic again I just took the MRT. I saw the EDSA that it is not traffic anymore as what I've seen yesterday. Have you also experienced this yesterday?

we can not avoid traffic especially here in the road of EDSA because this road is one of the most busiest road in our country because it is the road that will connecting directly from north bound to southbound area here in the National Capital region.

You said it really right the traffic in EDSA is the thing that can't be really avoided and this is the reason why I am so disappointed of the transferred of the new workplace. Unlike before I don't need to spend much long along the EDSA.

I use EDSA on some days and I have felt that traffic. I don't really know what's wrong but there seems to be more cars using Edsa for some reason. The weird about it though is that after 8:00, traffic suddenly disappears.

At least it still disappears after 8:00pm. I hope I can be working in a company that there is offset schedule like I can work at 11:00 am to 8:00pm to avoid that traffic . I think I can just travel for 30 minutes instead of 1 hour. And also it can be safe to ride a bus during that time. Unlike the rush hour it is totally agony.

It must be caused by the transfer of the late Dolphy's remains from the hospital morgue to the compound of ABS-CBN. I heard it did create traffic.

As if there is . I mean it was already 5:30 to 6:00 pm during that time and the remains of Dolphy was brought earlier that was around 2:00 to 3:00 pm in abs-cbn compound. I was able to watch his convoy in our office that is why I know and I am updated. So I really doubt it if there is something to do with his convoy while the northbound lane was no traffic.

I feel you bro, I always get irritated about that especially when going to Guadalupe or Kalayaan Ave. there's always traffic there sometimes it's only 30 minutes ride but when there's traffic I always get home for more than 1 hour and so because of the traffic.

You said it right, I don't also like the traffic in Kalayaan and Guadalupe. That is why I was totally disappointed when we need to transfer in JP Rizal. It is just in Makati and I am living in Pasay but that is 1 hour hell agony of travel time.
