It is very easy to find a man walking down the street, but where are all the long-haired men? Long haired men have a certain "I don't know what".....but it is very hard to find them. I want to know more about them. Where do they work? Where do they dine? What do they do for fun?

lol. They probably hang out at concerts, and at stadiums of that sort. Or where there is perhaps rock music. Now that I think about it. It is hard to find long haired men.

Long-haired man - This was me at the end of the 90s (I think), with quite long hair. As I recall by the early 2000s, I got it cut nice and short.
It's difficult to say. The way I see it, long hair for men isn't especially in fashion, say, as it was in the early 70s, when if not mostthen very many men had long hair. It seems to me that today, most men have short hair. And yet, there are still a good few long-haired men around. It seems to me that quite a few older men, who lived through the golden age of Rock and Roll still wear their hair long, I mean by choice. Also, unless I'm mistaken, there are those young guys who wear their hair long or relatively long who are into various forms of Rock music, such as, say Indie, or Emo, or Goth Rock, or Heavy Metal. So I think it's fair to say that if you wanted to find long-haired men, you might find them among students. Also there are guys in the arts who wear their hair long, especially music of course, but also acting: Johnny Depp tends to wear his hair long; and so at times does Brad Pitt. I've been known to wear it long myself, in fact it was pretty long at the start of this year, although it my case it wasn't for fashionable reasons: I just hadn't visited a hairdresser for a very long time, over a year in fact. In truth, I far prefer my hair short, and I'm not alone among men. I can't see long hair becoming widespread as it was in the early 70s...not for a long time anyway.

Thanks for your thoughtful response, Carl. I looked at your pictures and think you would look great with a ponytail. You gave me some good ideas. I saw the most handsome burger flipper at Five Guys.

don't know where to find them, but I know where you can find one on line to stare at, and a very nice one too. Go to Youtube, and look for a singer named Goran Karan. Beautiful voice, and if you like long hair, you'll get exactly what you're looking for! Enjoy the videos.

I've always had my hair long ever since I was a kid... There are times that I even sat on my hair... I usually get a hair cut every 2 - 3 years... Even now, my hair comes down to my chest... It's never been about fashion statement, or state, ent of any kind, for me... I'm just used to having a long hair... I don't belong to any type of group that people generally associate with those who have long hair, heavy metal people & emo & hippy & others... I do like heavier side of music but no more or less than what people like in their own taste of music... I do like going out to bars with friends, or hanging out with friends in general, going to sporting events, comedy clubs, etc... I have 2 jobs... I work as a translator & I work in retail store... My "hair style" has never been an issue with my work... Not sure what to tell ya for the rest of he people with long hair like to do but as far as me, I'm no different than any other person, except may be I have a too long of a hair for a guy... I have been mistaken for a girl, I've been stared at, strangers have come up & touched my hair, & other strange things have happened to me... I don't know... I didn't think it was all that unusual for a guy to have a long hair but I guess for some people, it's strange...

Nothing strange about long hair on a man. It's a beautiful thing. It is a shame we don't have a group here of nothing but long haired men and women. Strangers have come up and touched my hair, too. If you have been mistaken for a woman then you must be very cute....a very cute turtle :)

I guess some of them are dwelling in bars, clubs or red lights. That's very interesting to know someone still look for a 1970s style of hair.
