Unionism

I am a member of our employees union in our company, and we just had a negotiation meeting yesterday for our Collective Bargaining Agreement. Though I know, through a Union, employees can demand and negotiate for salaries and benefits, it just sounds awkward for me to push the amount just because we can justify them. But the company's offer is just not really acceptable and their justification is unfair. And the management negotiating panel is not bargaining. It's like their giving it as take it or leave it. It pissed us all off... but that's how it is. Just thinking aloud...

I do know that unions are created because the employees have seen the discrepancy present in a certain company. Their are rules that are sometimes inhumane and unfair. At least you stand by your union, but I guess in our country it's really hard to win against this kind of company because they are more powerful than those smaller workers. It is just sad knowing that our government is not totally in our side.:-(

Firstly,I am very admire you that there is a employees union in your company,my company never has it,and my boss judge us by himself totally. So I think you should fight for it when you have that right.Thing will never be easy, but if you try it hard,it will happen.
