An accidental cross-time radio link connects father and son across 30 years. The son tries to save his father's life, but then must fix the consequences.
I know this will not happen in real life but the movie was well written you'll think what if?!?
It actually made me cry on the end when everything was set correct. I recommend you to rent a copy.

hello,
I actually watched this movie about a year ago. I though this would be some meaningless sci fi thriller, but I was really surprised. I loved this movie. It was really good. A bit of an emotional movie. It's concept was new, I liked that. The ending was perfect. All the lead actors were brilliant. Some scenes were really good. It got me on my toes. Like the scene in the fire caught building , where he was supposed to die. That was the best scene of the movie in my opinion. As a whole I liked the movie very much. Everyone shuld watch it.

It was good/well written how Dennis Quaid,m in the present, gave tips on the CB to his dad who was in the past on what to do, (that would save his life) but without telling him what was going to happen and then seeing how they made the father remember it literally at the last minute and in the nick of time.

This is actually the first time that I've heard of this movie and what you've shared about it really doesn't sound like something that I would be interested in.
The reason that I don't think that I would enjoy this movie is because of the fact that I more enjoy movies that are about something that could happen in someone's life. In addition to this, the thought of going back in time to try to save a parent's life is something that I wish was possible because I would have made sure that my father was still alive today if it was something that I could do.

I LOVE that movie! I like most time travel movies tho. I saw it when it came out and just recently got the DVD for it. It was really great. It was really cool that when he was talking to his childhood friend on the CB radio when he himself was in the future..he told the kid "remember this...yahoo...just remember it"...and then at the end of movie, they show things are all fine again and this kid had grown up with him and they were playing a baseball game and the ball hit this guys corvette and they showed the license plates saying 'YAHOO123"...meaning that the kid remembered "yahoo" and when Yahoo was "invented" he invested and was wealthy! It was a great movie and I do recommend viewing it.

I like the story. There have been a few movies that made with about the same story line but in different scenarios. What if?! :) As these kind of stories usually deal with emotional relationships between parents and children, it is always touching.
