a sad story about revenge and a destructive love.. I felt so sad for the characters, even Heathcliff, the anti-hero.. Although he was still at fault for what he has become, the people around him did contribute a lot to it too.
It would have been nice if everyone had a happy ending and not losing he ones they love or die a miserable death, even trying to ruin their children's lives..

It was such a capturing, captivating book. I couldn't put it down. I wouldn't have liked it as much if everyone was living at the end, because I think it would've lost some of its power then. Heathcliff's character was really well thought-out and compley, one of the most interesting characters in the history of literature. I loved how menacing and mysterious he was, and also that he had the reasons, and actually that as much as he seemed evil and a devil, he actually had feelings, and kind of got the punishment foe what he did. I also liked that the female main characters weren't generic girly girls who could just love, but had own thoughts about the world.

I really want to watch this movie though I don't have much time to download it or to get a copy of it. I have heard much about this and even in our local series, one of them, many say that it is based from the story of Wuthering Heights. Knowing that fact made me more interested to watch this movie or somehow read the book when I'll have time.
