i just recieved word that my husband's aunt has been diagnosed with cancer again. she just finished a round of chemo last summer for the first cancer. we were planning to go visit her next weekend. unfortunately, my weekend girl just quit and now i have to cancel the trip. i pray that God will help her get through this next fight with cancer. i have the upmost love and respect for her. she loves my kids as her own grandkids and treats them as such. she reminds me of my own grandmother.

That is sad news. I am guessing that she lives far from you, since the visit requires a weekend. Anyway, I do hope and pray for her safety and recovery as well. Sometimes it's sad when the good people we know are the ones that get illnesses. With God's mercy and help, I pray and believe that she will recover.

we live a little over 400 miles away. it's been 2 yrs since we last seen each other. but if this girl did quit, we won't be able to go visit her. i get so frustrated that these girls keep quitting without notice everytime i make plans.
