Today evening, while I was working at the part - time job, a restaurant, the bus girl brought me a sharp pocket knife she pick it up from the window table. She believed that was left by the previous customer. It makes me nervous when I saw it. I guess that must be some teenagers left it on the chair. An hour later, a lady call back, and ask about whether we saw a pocket knife left by her son. I told her that we found one, and she can come pick it up either tonight before we close, or tomorrow. A moment later, a teenage boy came pick it up. I thought to myself, why would he need a such sharp pocket knife for? Play or something else. That looks really dangerous, and I hope that he has good use of it, and not to harm any other human beings.

Where I grew up it is very common for teens and even boys as young as 10 or 11 to have their own pocket knives. I never really thought about it much. I never knew anyone to really hurt themselves with one even accidentally. Most of them used their knives when they went hunting. I was always jealous. I was a girl, but I wanted a pocket knife too. My dad had one and my brothers. I never did get a pocket knife of my own. lol

That makes sense to be worried about. We never had much fighting among kids or even teens though, and when we did it was always a fist fight, never with weapons that I can remember. It was always the adults trying to stab or shoot each other.

It is difficult to guess what the knife is for. Let's just hope it is gonna be used for something good. I know some people like collecting things like different kinds of knives. My coworker loves collecting very old stuffs no ,matters how much they may cost.

Yeah. I hope he makes good use of it and not harm other people. You can get nervous because he might have some dangerous intentions with that weapon.

A knife not so bad under 3 inches, but after that its a concern. You also now have knowledge of this boys carrying of a knife, keep that on your alert list and keep your eyes open. Paranoia, naw, just good sense, you have a right to be concerned of weapons left displayed openly in bussiness or public. God Bless.
