Do you ever fall asleep while working online?

I can't work well online or offline when sleepy so I really don't work when sleepy but instead I'd go to bed and spend some time for sleeping so that when I wake up I'd be ready to work. It is not good for your sleep to keep working even when sleepy and besides you can't work well and good if your eyes want to call it quits.

That's a good thing that you do that. I'm sure in the morning that you feel refreshed to get your activities done for the day. I try my best to get as much done in the evenings and to work some in the mornings before my daughter and I go out and about. It makes me feel better to know that I've worked a little and I feel I've accomplished something.

dear
lol! I haven't either but when i sit in frount of the computer for so long my eyes do get heavy . I hate sitting for too long and i bet someone can notice when my answers get shorter and have less quality. I try my hardest to earn as much as possible each day but sometimes there are times that i can't work any longer.I take breaks often and keep a water bottle by my computer. Sometimes i will be on my laptop and go into bed and i seem to work longer there.

Yeah I feel the same way as well. I try to keep going as long as I can. But when I can tell that my thoughts aren't exactly making since then I have to go to bed. After all I'm not getting much accomplished if others can't understand what I'm trying to say. Yeah having a laptop would be great. I don't have a laptop but I think that it would be easier to be able to go in different places of the house and not have to sit in my office chair all day.

I have not fallen asleep online either. Butwhen I get really tired then my writing is not good and my creative thoughts are all jumbled and so I am no longer productive either. Now I have fallen asleep while reading, or crochetting. I will keep falling asleep and jumping awake and after I do that a few times I just put those things away and go to sleep. Its mostly reading that I will do this to, but thats only when its really late.

Yeah it is really hard to be productive when we are super tired. I have felt that way a lot lately. In September we will be moving and so I have been working hard to try and earn some extra money so we can afford the deposits we need. Yeah reading can make me tired as well.

I haven't fallen asleep online recently, but back when I was in college, I would often be up late working on assignments and chatting with friends, and I would sometimes end up falling asleep at the keyboard. I always knew that I should probably just get to bed, but for some reason I would always end up trying to push myself a little further. I would usually end up laying my head down beside the keyboard for just a minute, but then I would be so tired that I'd fall asleep and not even realize it.

I understand what you mean. We often keep pushing ourselves until our bodies say that's enough. That's how I feel when I start to get really tired after working online all day. And I often feel like pushing myself harder in the late evenings because that is when my daughter is sleeping. But it's important to be balanced.

yes, whenever i feel like i cant think anymore. but i normally go online just to check some emails and all that. watching movies/series is what's making me fall asleep most of the time. i sometimes use it for me to go to sleep.

Yeah often there just is so much that needs done. And there often isn't enough time to get all the things done that we would like to in one day. Then we have to be flexible and divide up our time wisely. Otherwise we will be falling asleep.

I don't think I have while being online. Though tonight I'm up later than my normal so I can sleep in but I've been feeling sleepy for close to 2 hours but being black friday I'm burning the midnight oil at work and I need to try to survive my shift.

hi Dominique25 oh yes I actually fell asleep, my head hit
the keyboard and thumped hard.I got a nice black eye from
that, the first shiner I ever had. since it was daytime I
laid down before I did this again and slept for several
hours.I start to type letters like k and realize I am about
to go to sleep so then I just close up the computer and go
to bed.

Ouch that would hurt. I'm glad you go lay down when you are starting to feel sleepy. If I bumped my head like that I would go take a nap as well. Fortunately that hasn't happened to me yet. But I know for the next few months I will be burning both ends of the candle since we need money to move. Moving can be such a pain.

Who hasn't gotten drowsy or even fallen asleep at the computer? When I lived alone, I was really bad about that. I would stay up late talking online to my boyfriend and, then, suddenly "vanish." After I did that a few times, he figured out that I was falling asleep during our late-night conversations.

Yeah there just isn't enough hours in the day to get everything done and enough energy to continously stay up. So either way our body tells us it needs rest. Usually i stay up late every night. But last night I went to sleep and got a little rest.

That's good that you haven't fallen asleep. I haven't fallen asleep but I have gotten really tired. Where if I lay back in my chair I could fall asleep.
