We ended up bringing our canoe, because my sister had to have it. The effort it took to put on and off the canoe we were using it. So I told them I was going out either way. My sister and old roomate went out, we all took turns with them, my mom and SIL. We went out to the deeper waters, my college roomate was screaming because she was making the boat rock and it was going to tip. I was getting annoyed, I mean its water, she was sceeaming making a scene with other looking at us. So I just tipped the canoe, it shut her up. She didn't talk to me the rest of the day, I was so happy actually. Our canoe is fiber glass so its heavy so we had issues emptying the water and getting back in. But in the end my sister laughed and said good for me. I don't care if my college roomate hates me, she was getting on my nerves and the one rocking the boat almost tipping it constantly.

There is always a screamer in the bunch it seems. Was it her first time canoeing? I hope you two get to talking again, it's too bad she is too immature to laugh at herself. Did you tip the canoe over or ?

Im not sure if it was her first time canoeing. I would imagine since she doesnt lift a finger or do anything. I mean sure whine and complain right as we get in the canoe not the entire time we paddle throughout the lake. My sister and I were doing all the work, while she wouldnt shut up. So I jumped out of the canoe and it tipped.

Don't rock the boat if you don't want the boat to flip over. LOL. I remember when I was younger and I used to go camping all the time and it was always something that we enjoyed doing was to flip the canoe. The reason that this was something that we liked to do is because we were able to get wet and we were all water babies. It doesn't sound like your old roommate was a water baby, but I think that I would have done the same thing if she was driving me nuts.

It taught her a lesson. If she was afraid of going out in the water she should have just said so and not went. That would have been a lot easier then having to deal with her and almost tipping it over!
