I was just looking into pet insurance, Patches right now has been getting very sick. Im reading up on it, and some you pay $30.00 a month, but they cover 80% of the visit. I may not get it for Toppie as he doesnt seem to get sick that often, nor Marco it would be cheapier to fork it out of pocket. But Stripes and Patches tend to get sick every so many months, and this may be a benefit and easier.

Yep, I am seriously going to be looking into insurance. I have six cat's, a few small animals and will no doubt be acquiring more in the future. I really could kick myself for not getting it sooner. I'm wondering now how much I could have saved ourselves. We are definitely getting it as soon as I get off my but and get around to it. I really have to, five are getting up in age but as I know from past experience anything can go wrong at any time. Kudos for being a responsible pet owner.

I have 3 cats, and 1 rabbit right now. Patches & Stripes were very sick as kittens whoever had them when they were little didnt take care of them so now even at 2 years old they are having trouble. Just last week I spent $700 at the vet, and she isnt getting better so I have to take her back tomorrow. I never thought of it, as many in my family have animals but say the insurance is a waste of money but Im looking into it as I take mine to the vet more often.

All mine were strays and came into my life expensively. To summarize, mites, fleas, tapeworms, grubs. You name it they had it as kittens. Then we had the odd urinary tract infection here and there. Two cancer cases with weekly steroid shots, medications and euthanasia's. I could go on and on, all kinds off odd things happen. They've all been good for two years now but you know how that goes. The storms right around the corner ha ha. I don't think it's a waste of money, I think it's peace of mind. Medical stuff is expensive then you have teeth cleanings, and now one needs to be shaved etc. Yeah, I think some people need to worry about what they do with their own money ha ha.

i think that it is totally worth it because my mom seems to be paying outrageously high pet vet bills. i think it is good especially if your pet is getting older like my mom's cat. she is experiencing problems like her teeth and of course, fleas, but that is because she is an outside cat.

My cats go outside but supervised, but being an outside cat without supervision can cut several years off the cats life. I am looking into a few companies for insurance at least for Patches & Stripes. They seem to get sick every few months.

I've heard of pet insurance but never have gotten any for any pets I've had. I think for those pets who need visits every few months it's a great idea. I would get it for the two cats but not worry about Toppie or Marco, not unless they start needing visits more often. Are there many companies to choose from?

I would ask your vet if they take the insurance and just what do they cover on the bill. Sone only pays for certain things here and it can be not worth the money.

Oh this is new to me. I have never heard of pet insurance in my life. It is nice to know that you have pets. It is said that those people who love pets, are very good at understanding human's feelings because if you can feel so much for your pet then of course for humans. I think you must go for Patches's insurance since he is frequently getting sick. Happy petting to you.

I have been researching into the pet insurance some say it's not worth it, but it all depends on what they cover. I've never heard of that but I love my pets just like my own children.
