the story is like this. my mother is married to a man who is the cousin of my cousin's mother. and her father who is the brother of my mother is married to a woman who is the cousin of my father. that might sound confusing but the most easy way to say it is that my cousin's middle name is my family name and her last name is my middle name. get it?? :)

Okay, I was willing to accept that your cousin is your sister because of the fact that my husband, who has never met his biological father found out that his cousin (his mother's sister's daughter) has the same biological father as he has. So, my husband and Jessie are brother and sister (half siblings). Now in the way that you've presented the information in your family, I can see that you and your cousin are double related, but you don't share a parent so she isn't your sister biologically.

yeah, very confusing and i agree to the fact that even if that confused you much then it will never matter since what matters the most is that you love each other dearly. come to think of that a person can even love her or his friends and what more if it is your relatives or family.
