Lately some people tend to go with their friends and forget their families and yet when they are in trouble they blame their parents for their mistakes, and some leave because of friends and they say "YOLO" but even though you only live once you should still love your parents because without them then you are not here. what do you guys think?

Family is important and so are friends. There is no reason to choose between the two. It is still possible that you can have a strong and healthy relationship with both family and friends. While there are factors that can affect the kind of relationship a person has with his family and friends, it will all depend on the person. My family drives me nuts and when they do I run to my friends. Fortunately, I have good, family-oriented friends and they do not influence me to just go ahead and forget my family. Most of all, I was raised on a household that has taught me that no matter how I lived my life, where I go, and whom I go with, family will always be important. I love my family but it doesn't mean that I can't have friends. I have friends that I treat like family but it does not mean I can go and forget my family. Loving both family and friends does not mean I love any of them less.
