Michael and Ronan agree to try to help Paul but

Michael could already do a lot to help Paul just by saying the gun belonged to Lauren. Of course he wants to protect Lauren and, thus, is putting her first. And Ronan should have seen to a more thorough search was done for the knife incuding checking on street people and others who my have been in the area a long time ago.

Well summer is back and I have a little more time to watch, it is amazing how much has happened in the past few weeks considering how slowly the story generally moves. The thing is no matter if he is accused or not it must be really terrible to have shot Ricky, and now people assume it was premeditated. Paul has had a really bad year. It is interesting they brought Ronan back, but the thing with Lauren is going to backfire at some point for Michael, he has protected her too many times and this is a soap, that means that when the truth is discovered it will be in the worst way possible and Paul will realize that the man he trusted betrayed him to protect his wife, I wonder if he will forgive him.
