Hello guys, though am a husband but there are times that i feel like cooking. My wife cooks better than I and honestly after been cooking hard of my favorite recipe I could not still appreciate it unlike the way my wife cooks. Besides, I would never cook without basic ingredients... Who will do most the cooking in your family? Mobhomeir here 071712 1535hrs

dear Martin, Aw, my ex-hus is a better cook than me (too bad for me) He's the one who taught me how to cook. Well, of all household chores, cooking is not my forte. But I assure everyone I am the best cook for my kids (hahaha) Oh well, in fairness my kids do appreciate my cooking and even proud of it (credit goes to my ex for the cooking lesson) What's your specialty then my dear amigo?

I'm still single but it would be a great honor and i will really took pride to my friends if in the future my husband will going to cook. In the family my mom doesn't know how to cook however my dad is a great one. So i said to myself, If I will grow up and get married, i will choose a husband that knows how to cook.

Most of the time I do all the cooking since my husband is very busy and tired to his work and he don't have enough time to cook for us. But there are times especially during weekends and when we feel it he is the one cooking and cleaning all the kitchen utensils. I admit that I can cook anything but he cooks better than me because the taste was different and even the aroma of his cooking is really good and mouth watering. I believe that he is better cook that me since never do shortcuts in cooking.

I also do the cooking at home. I agree with Stowyk, I cannot let my husband take charge in the kitchen because it will really end up messy. :) And you'll wonder how he did with using almost all kinds of utensils. I can cook with just a knife (for the preparation), and the frying spoon or saute spoon, and of course the pan. And before I start cooking I see to it I clean up the mess (peelings, packaging, etc.). But my husband (and my I include my brother also?), even if he's done cooking, all the utensils, peelings, plastics are still there untouched. :)

i am not telling that i am a good cook but it's already like a tradition that i take charge in the kitchen when i am at home, no work in the office, or even after work, especially when my wife is busy with other household chores. if she's not busy, she's the one that takes charge of the cooking.

I am the one who cooks in this household. My boyfriend never worked to develop that particular skill, which is okay with me since I do enjoy cooking and like having the kitchen as my own personal domain. We do have an arrangement, though. I cook, and he gets to do all of the dishes except for my cast iron cookware. That works quite well for me.

I do most of the cooking in my family. However, there is usually once a week where my hubby will cook dinner. He cooks just as good as me if not better depending on the meal. He cooks spanish food better because he is puerto rican and learned from his mom. Where I also learned from my mom but more american type foods such as spagetti sauce and meatloaf. In fact he decided to cook dinner today(sunday) and made a great pot of beef stew. It is delicious!

I was the one usually cooks for our meal. Cooking is really my passion. However, when I feel tired, I just request my wife to cook for us and I will be the one to take care of our son. There are also dishes that I was the one who cooks better while there are some that my wife does it better. In our case, my wife will search for some recipe while I will be the one to cook it and I am really happy knowing that what I did is delicious for them. My cooking is not completed without the use of "patis" or fish sauce and seasoning.

My boyfriend doesn't cook. He only suggest the meals he would like to eat. The bad part in that, even being helpful with giving ideas, because sometimes I am totally out of ideas what to cook, but still there is a bad part - he always wants to make it easier for me and instead of a normal dish he suggest something with is nearly ready, just needs little baking. His ideas are always so expensive and that makes me little mad, because we can't afford eating so expensive foods all the time. His ideas always content french fried, melted cheese, salami, yellow cheese and so on, which cost a fortune bought for one single meal. I wish he could cook easier and more simple things. I would love sometimes to be changed by him for at least one of the things I do at home every day.

I do most of the cooking but when it comes to quality, my husband competes with me! We would call our in-laws to judge between us! He cannot cook without onions. I cannot cook without dancing!

That means if you both cook simultaneously there must be and onions and the dancing ingredients of your respective recipe...that's unusual.. thanks for responding my friend. Mobhomeir here 071812 2143hrs
