The modern world was in the state of weary, in terms of a widespread elements of violence. The hanging question was, "How are we going to alleviate this kind of weariness?" I've been wondering this, when will it be?

The opposite of peace is war and as we all know war does not create peace only peace creates peace. It might only be possible with some kind of world wide government?

@Shavkat I know this is negative but I feel like our world is just crumbling in so many ways. World Peace seems like a fairy tale now.

Does the question seems too shallow? or common? You might not feel melancholic if you are immune to it. Things will be fine if we have that immunity for having world peace.

If we ever attain world peace, a new question will however arise, will we be able to maintain world peace.

I don't know if we will achieve world peace on the near future. But I am crossing my finger to attain this goal soon or later before its too late.

I guess we should start with ourselves. There's this popular saying that goes like, let's change the world one person at a time, or something like that. Let's face: it we do not have that much power or influence to change the world by ourself alone; but maybe we can start and be an inspiration to those people who are immediately around us. After all, there's nothing to lose in trying. Besides, even if this level of influential change to world peace didn't reach globally and it's just enough to change your community, at least you can be proud to say that you have somehow attained a sliver of peace in your own world, by your own small way. Just my two cents. :)
