Chinese Kitty Rides on LA-bound Freighter

Chinese Kitty Rides on LA-bound Freighter - A 3-month-old kitten survived a journey across the Pacific, traveling from Shanghai to Los Angeles without food or water while locked in a freight container on a ship.

The kitten was named as Ni-Hao which means "hello" in Mandarin Chinese.

I hope the kitten is doing okay. I read on the news a kitten hitched a ride on a freight from China going to LA. Although the news said that the kitten is doing okay now but he's lucky that he survived those days without food and water.

I reckon he wants to be big in the movies like most people who travel for miles to LA.It is lucky he survived a journey that long without food or water.I have never heard of a case like this before the only ones i have heard about are smaller animals like spiders or scorpions.Lets hope he is doing well and after he is quarantined finds a loving family to care for him.

The U.S. doesn't have a big, long quarantine like the U.K.

There are so many strange ways that you hear of cats making journeys. I know that a friend of mine ended up adopting a cat that somehow rode in her car from another friend's house to her home. They are assuming that the cat rode in the wheelwell of the car, but they are not sure about that. I too hope that the cat that made his great voyage is doing well and that it was able to find a loving home.

I hope somebody would take care of the kitten, it could have been aware of what's happening in china that's why it made it's way to LA (joke). Sometimes, we really have to take notice of those things that we took for granted at all times, this one is a cute story, a journey of a little creature. I really wish it will find new home in LA to take care of her.

It might have a different experience altogether and it is not possible for everyone around.

Poor kitty without food and water. I guess he/she wanted to make it big in LA. Made the news at least. I'm glad the cat is doing OK now
