I have an internet cable at home and we pay approximatley $6.68 per month for it. Its real fee is $10 but my elder brother has good relation with the owner of internet cable connection of our area so we pay only $6.68.

In Australia it depends on what sort of connection you have as well as who is the provider. For those who live in the city or close to the telephone exchange they have a choice of broadband or dial-up. Further out there is a choice between satellite or dial-up and most will opt for dial-up as satellite is just too expensive.
The rates can start as low as $9.95 per month but that will have a limit on either hours or the amount that can be downloaded, with an excess fee changed.

For me it is free. It comes with my apartment and is a high speed connection. It does cost anywhere from $15 all the way up to $100 a month, depending on what kind of connection you want.
