Trying to find a new job

So I've been unhappy with my current job for quite a while now so today my friend from work and I went out job hunting. She's just as unhappy as I am so we went to an outdoor mall near my house to apply at a few places. I'd really like to work at either Hollister or a surf shop and I applied to both of those places. We also applied to Kilwin's, which is a chocolate and ice cream shop. Both of us got interviews literally right after we handed in our applications. It seemed like a nice place to work and I'd get paid a little more than I do now. The thing I'm not sure I like is the fact that I'd be working less hours than I do now. But, it seems like I might actually like working there and who knows, I might end up making more money after a while. The manager said that after a few months I could possibly get a promotion or raise based on how hard I work. I'll see what happens with all the places I applied to and hopefully something works out so I can leave the job that I have now

I've been away for a while... are you still at VS? I do hope you finally find a new job. I know that you've been unhappy with VS for a while. With all of their restrictions and what not. A chocolate and ice cream shop seems like a cool place to work. Good luck!

Unfortunately, I'm still at VS :( It's getting to the point where I really dread going to work and I don't think I should be so stressed over a part time job while I'm in college. I'll stick it out for now until I get an offer somewhere else and then I guess I'll see what happens..

Congratulations. Hopefully you can adapt quickly, and do your best. Success to you! If possible, I think, don't be left previous jobs.
