My sister wants to join myLot : Please help

India

My sister wants to join myLot and when she first told me that I was so happy but suddenly I started thinking . We use the same computer so will myLot allow that and that too if she joins under me ? Will that be counted as cheating . I am so scared . I am a member since a year and I don't want to lose my account . We have our own seperate paypal accounts but I am so confused . She is so eager and I told her to wait till my fellow myLotters give suggestions . Please help .

Of course, rolly, she can join Mylot independently or as your referral with a different username and a different password and both of you can participate on Mylot on the same computer.I and my son both are on this site and we use the same computer. It won't lead you to lose your account. But if she joins Mylot, she must not forget using her own username and password. So she would need to log you out first and log in herself by using her password and username. That's all. Also she would need to have a Paypal account of hers.

I am sure the response from forever above is the greatest news you and your sister could receive today, but I would have thought it would have been permissible because as long as your account are seperated there should not be any issues.. Good luck to your sister and I am sure she will enjoy her time on mylot...The more the merrier.....

rollyrolly: No problem -- your sister can open a separate mylot account-- she must have a separate email account -- paypal account. It is told that accounts will be closely monitored due to the potential for abuse. hope you understand. http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq1.aspx#6

dear I think that is possible. If she makes her own account and she can join as your referral. She can use the same computer as you because there is a public computer check when you log into your mylot so it is possible to use mylot on a shared computer or a public computer. EVen i queestion myself when i do something on mylot because i love this site.

hi rollylolly, You and your sister are two different people, I am sure she can be part of mylot family and it is not cheating. She can come under you as well. So don't think too much of that. there shouldn't be any problems. happy mylotting, have a good day.

There is no problem at all. Me an my wife are mylot users and we use the same internet connection. I have my laptop while she uses her own and we have not encountered any problem. So you do not have to worry about it. I guess the only thing you have to consider is you cannot log on together on the same computer but definitely you can simultaneously go to mylot with the same IP address using different computers.

hi rolly lolly yes you can use the same computer and you can have your sister as your referral as both of those are legal as mentioned in the frequently asked questions. Read them just to acquaint your selves with the guidelines and the FAQ's too.

Hello rollylolly, that means you both gonna have to take turns in responding, commenting and making discussions every single day. that's good to know that you two have separate paypal accounts. am sure it's allowed, it's just that when you become addicted, the time will be more demanding, i hope you two can share time for mylothave a nice day

I think when you are signing up it will ask if anyone in your household is a member. I don't think they care as long as you have separTe paypal accounts.

i think it could not be possible. because they will come to know your IP address. if you will use two account in same ip may be they will ban your account. so its better not to creat another account in same ip
