Cinderella's Shoes

I wore a power dress yesterday as I conducted the Focus Group Discussion in Development Planning. My group mates called my shoes as "Cinderella's shoes" because of its glass sole. Everything went out perfectly. I got no problem during the entire discussion. Not until I went out of the office to go home. I drop by the nearest supermarket to buy some powder for my laundry. As I forwarded to the cashier, I felt something went wrong with my left shoe. The sole was partially detached from the main shoe. What a day! Good thing that my new acquaintance from our village helped me by buying a ne pair of slippers and assisted me in going home. Glad that there are still helpful people around. Still, part of the training!

It was not a bad day at all. Just look at the brighter side and I think that's another version of "cinderella". Anyway, it's good that there are still people around us who are willing to give a hand. Happy Mylotting!

How can shoes have glass soles? I imagine they will be very hard on feet a they cannot bend. I have always wondered about Cinderella´s shoes for many reasons (I´m a writer and love children´s fairy tales). I think that silk would have been better, at least for my feet.

Actually, this pair of shoes was a gift from a friend and I can not wear it often because of the high heels. It is in my own opinion a very sexy shoes and everyone would say wow! when they saw it. They don't know that was the first and the last time they will be able to see it.

I think your shoes are just 'Cinderella's shoes', they help you to show the perfect performance in the Development Planning and left you after your main task finished. Maybe I also need a pair of 'Cinderella's shoes'.

Power dress but powerless shoes? Hahaha! My goodness that Cinderella shoes of yours brought you to shame!Anyway, it's good your new acquaintance has been really good for helping you get out of that problem. So next time don't judge the shoes by its looks, the glass sole is no assurance of durability remember that, so make sure you don't get into that same embarrassment again.

well I really do believe that everything happens for a reason. In your situation I guess it happened for you to have sometime with your new acquaintances and to get to know more with each other.I also want to have that shoes but i'm afraid it will might not able to sustain my weight for a long time. However you can still repair that.

That right Daisy! Everything happens for a reason. I have found a new friend because of that. Actually that shoes was a gift from a friend and I seldom use it because I am not very comfortable of shoes with high heels. That might be the reason why it has been damaged because I tend to keep it for a long time.

Awwww, that's Cinderella with a twist! Instead of leaving your shoe when midnight strikes, your shoe was broken! When there's prince charming to retrieve Cinderella's shoe, you have your friend to help you to buy new slippers. :)
