It's her first major exam for her first time in school, and I have to make reviewing more interesting for her. So, what I did was to make practice test materials for every subject. I was so excited at first, and mimicked the mastery test layout. I thought it was an easy job, but oh my, it required a lot of illustrations and I was never good in sketching or drawing objects. I gave my best shot on it, and Im glad she was able to decipher what she sees on the papers.
As i expected, she did go thru the papers with excitement and finished it. I do hope it helped her retain things for the actual exam.

That's very true. I was more excited and tensed about how she'll do. The exams were scheduled in 3 different days, at 1 hour and 30 minutes each. I was shocked to see her come home too soon today. I wonder if she was able to answer all items.

I guess it is not good to make practice test for your child in order to study for the exams. Because it is to much for her to be answering the same questions. Instead you just let your child read the exercises in their class and review them.

She actually liked it. After the first the first set that I made for 2 subjects, she asked me to make more. She enjoyed it better than going thru the book, which we always do every weekend to review her and make a follow through on what she learned from class.
