or probably he was trying to pay attention in front of the theater with all the crap that his in his body. or he watch it earlier and got pissed so he tried to stop the viewers from the cinema from watching it!
But it was very clear...that he was an insane idiot.
I was merely reacting to the current news in Colorado where the disappointed viewer SHOT people after throwing a tear gas in it.
I mean, isn't it simple to just walk way from the THEATER?!

Hello Sishy, How could 
a PHD do something like that. maybe he needed help from another Phd from another department to fix his pyscho brain. He may be smart and intelligent, but he is still a sicko...
He does not have any records against him either, not even a traffic ticket, but there is definitely something wrong with his mental health.
He was brought up in a church-goer, middle class suburban family, still something evil is hidden inside his mind.

I just saw the article on Yahoo. This is the second time I've heard of shooting at a Batman movie. I think it might be the long lines that drive people insane like this, but seriously these are simple acts of terror meant to scare people from doing the things they enjoy doing. This man may have been insane, but more likely he is one of these fanatics that believe people enjoying themselves is a crime.

During the original Batman movie, some wanna be thugs thought it would be funny to shoot at the screen. It wasn't nearly as dramatic, but definitely scared people. This guy was on a mission to make people pay for something he was angry about.

While reading the news today, the first question I had to ask was "Why was he able to get in the theater with all those things??" I mean, is it only us here in our country where we're heavily searched coming in an establishment (mostly malls?).
Anyhow, it was sad that sort of thing happened. Worst is the fact that it was supposed to be a fun time for those people. Obviously, everything was planned by this guy. Perhaps to get attention. You know how people get. I hope they'll learn the lesson of searching people and having tighter security next time.
I wonder why these sorts of stunts always seems to happen in the US more frequently? Are people there really that depressed or way out of their minds? Whew!

Hello Laydee, they said there was no other suspect in that incident, but maybe there are other people who let them in. but that's my point of view, they said that it's alarming that there is an increasing rouge of individual terrorism in their country. but i think these people aren't that mature compare to us whom experienced being broke and poor all the time.

He wasn't a movie goer. He came in from the outside....he kicked in an exit door and dropped a smoke bomb or tear gas canister....when people started running, he started shooting.
But you are right......he was an insane idiot.
At least he didn't kill himself like most of these wackos do......so he can face his charges and maybe someone can figure out what was going on in his head.

Hello sconibear, he's a real idiot! maybe he really is crazy for doing that. am glad he was too coward to kill himself or the authorities would never find out how it started and all. I am sadden for those people who didn't deserve it. now am sure teens will be forbidden to go out at night instead they will have restrictions on their children

This guy who did this shooting at the movie threater is nut case! He even had his apartment booby traped! This guy is a total wacko! I have not heard why he of did it but for whatever the reason he this will be prison for the rest of his life,where he deserves to be!

What in the world did man turn into? And how on earth was he able to bring inside a theater, a public place with mall guards or security, all those crap? (And to think that I declared that the guy who kicked the trash can across our street's got anger issues)
I hope that when asked why he did what he did, I really hope he won;t say because YOLO. If he did, I swear I don't want to live on this planet anymore! Not! ;)

The US is akin to an insane asylum right now. People are killing themselves, killing others, killing their families then themselves or going out and shooting total strangers. A lot of these people are crazy, sure, but some are driven insane because they've been unemployed for years and have lost everything. Still more have been in and out of jail, serious crimes aren't given long sentences. There was a man that raped 2 boys over a period of 5 years and he got just 2 years, time served, so he'll be in jail only till September then out to rape more little boys! This country is insane.
Our mental health system is crazy, too. This guy probably had problems but it's the law that you can't force someone to get help, can't hospitalize them against their will or commit them to a hospital without a court order. It's all about individual rights and the heck with the rights and safety of the public. A large percentage of our homeless are mentally ill people who refuse treatment.
I'm heartbroken that a 1 year old baby was murdered in that theater. What were they thinking, taking a child that young from his bed just to see a movie?! What a waste of 15 lives and so much pain for the wounded.

Hello dragon54u, it's nothing new but i am sad about how that young man ruined his life along with 15 other people in the state. if he had problems, he should have talk to his friends or get professional help. they should have been more careful now and the ones who were there would not come back watching in theaters.

I know that he is mentally ill but I would like to know why he's did all this. Just because he want to be like Joker?? I don't think so~ I really can't accept it if that is just his reason. Simple want to be that character because he into it so much?? Oh, come on..it just a fiction~ I am not sure if they need to change the rate of the movie just for certain age to view but I am not sure which age category should we put this movie in to~
