I am really looking forward to the athletics and think that the mens 100 metres could be one of the best of all time.

hello, I am going to watch all the events in which my country is going to participate. I will support my country in every event. But mostly I will be watching shooting , archery and tennis because in these sports we have a chance of getting a medal. Also we have some pretty good wrestlers, so chance of getting a medal there. But I generally dont watch wrestling. So i will be concentrating on rest of them. I also want to see Neymar play in the football contest.

Of course, the 100 meter dash is very much on the top. But I also enjoy watching swimming, shooting, boxing and wrestling events. Shooting, boxing and wrestling because these are the only real avenues where India can hope for a medal in these games. Cheers! Ram

My favorite events are those from the track and field. I really enjoy all the running events like 100, 200 and all the way to 10,000 m race. As for the field events I particularly like to watch the high and long jump events and the pole vault. My greatest wish is to be able to watch the events live onsite instead of on TV.

For me, that would be the Basketball games, esp the team USA. Which features some of NBA's best players.

I love watching the all the countries walking in during the opening ceremonies to start with! Then I am looking forword to the swimming events. I especially want to see Michael Phelps swim and see how many medals he wins in these Olympics! I will watch the woman swimming events, too! I also like watching Women gymnastics. I will watch men's,too. Woman are more elegant and graceful while men are powerful and more athletic. I enjoy watching diving. I am a horse nut and if I can catch some of the Equestion sports ,also! Go Team USA!

I'll probably watch some of the athletics and some other stuff, but mainly equestrian. I've got tickets for two events, both involving horses. I'll be home again for the finales in the horsey stuff, so I'll try to see them on the TV. Not sure if I have the right channels though, there's not a lot of Norwegians competing in show jumping and dressage so they'll probably not send a lot. I hope they send some on Swedish TV, 'cause they have much better commentators than the Norwegians commentating on Eurosport.

For me, I would be very happy to see the bsketball competition and the 4 x 400 and 4 x 100 relays, they are going to be so competitive, with the USA and Jamaicans being favourites, would like to see another country surprise us there. Am also wondering how the 100 meters would go, who would out shines who, if Bolt is still the best like he says or if Blake could also shock us, since he has beat Usain Bolt twice this year, I feel it's all a hoax just for Blake to feel his faster because they are trained by same trainer.

Lee Chong Wei is the Malaysian hope for the very f - Lee Chong Wei is the Malaysian hope for the very first Olympic gold medal.
Yes, I am eagerly awaiting the 100 meters too. As my country's only hope of winning a gold is in badminton, I am keeping my fingers crossed that our players can at least enter the final to have a chance to win the very first Olympic gold for the whole nation. Go, Lee Chong Wei, go!

I am looking forward to events with a good atmosphere, so maybe all of them. It's a shame footbal in Olympics is somewhat downgraded by little participation of footbal stars. In contrast, ice hockey in Olympics is very challenging, with lots of players from NHL etc. Football/soccer is unfortunately not that interisting to watch.
