Isn't it awful that people can not even go to see a movie without being fearful?

People are just crazy and they do crazy things more and more. It is so awful to hear about the massacre in Colorado. So many individuals feel they need to do harm to others. It is hard to do just simple things anymore. You wouldn't think that you would have to be worried about losing your life going to the movies. But that is the world we live in. My heart goes out to the families, it is such an unspeakable tragedy.

Yes, it's awful, but what is worse is that this isn't an isolated occurrence. It's happening more and more all over the United States. If it keeps on, it will soon be dangerous just to go shopping anywhere, let alone going to the movies or out to enjoy oneself.
People are losing their minds and no one seems to notice. There are so many possibilities as to why that you'd think someone would do some investigation as to why so many are becoming violent.

I completely agree with you. Just trying to go to public places is scary now. It makes us feel that no where really is safe. We truly are living during a time period where things are continuing to go from bad to worse. So many innocent people are losing their life. I agree with you. There needs to be a lot more done because people are getting worse.

I know, it is awful. I took my sons and their friends to the movies today, afternoon matinee, and there is now a police officer stationed at our local movie theater. Of course I understand why he was there, and I suppose it made me feel safer, but I was very sad as well. We live in a very safe area, and you just don't expect to need police officers at movie theaters and such to stay safe. My heart goes out to the families in Colorado, and also to people everywhere, especially kids, who have to live in fear. It is truly a shame.

I'm glad that there was a police officer stationed there. I'm sure that it made you feel more comfortable. My husband and I would like to go to the movies soon and I hope that there will be a police officer there as well. Our town is small and we have never thought of needing something like this. But with the world getting worse and worse I'm sure that security for a lot of things will be increased.
