A "Knight" to Remember

The cold sensation, trembling hands, blushing cheeks, sparkling eyes and fast beating of the heart- all of this happens when a "knight" comes to your way. Every girl dreamed to be with the man of their dreams. A man whom they can entrust their hearts with, a man that can protect them and most of all, a man who can love them dearly. Of course, that type of man is really hard to find nowadays. But I guess I was just blessed to be able to meet one. (Just meet.lol.) I met him during my freshman year in college. He really was my ideal guy. He was tall, handsome, kind, a singer and intelligent. Oh how I wish he would be my knight in shining armor! Not long after that,it so happened that a friend of mine was also his his friend and because of that i finally able to meet him and eventually became his friend. At that time, I really wished he would be the one. But as time passed and i get to know him more each day, I realized that there's no spark between us even if I take into account my admiration towards his physical appearance. Little did I know that what I'm feeling was only an infatuation. In conclusion, I learned that love is not always in the appearance alone, but also to consider what's within the heart.
