Pilot licence

To get a Commercial Pilot Licence(CPL) needs 1 year.But to be Graduate needs 3 years.CPL may be equal to a Graduate degree.But I am not sure.Do you know?I will be very happy if anyone tell me - CPL is equal to Graduate degree,or not.
