Hello lotters,
I
was referring to the so called SONA of the President Noynoy Aquino. it seemed he had a lot of things done, but not big things that most people expect. works that ordinary people may not feel.
it seems like the media has almost
covered it all. they have heard all the comments and views of other people. but the problem is that I have watch it and it seemed Optimistic to me. you can't expect every thing work out on six years alone. some takes more time because the Government is solely doing it with some participation of some NGOs' and the people.
I just hated the way protesters express their dismay
but he also admitted some disadvantages and problems, which was honest enough.
So, what do you think?

I failed to watch the entirety of the SONA speech myself. I think that there are many achievements that this administration did like cleaning their office and ridding of anomalous appointments. I think with this still ongoing I do not think they will be able to clean the entirety with having only three more years to go for this one.
But I am glad that economics wise they have given a good start this year. The past two years was not so much but the first half of the year did have a good results as seen on the Stock Market and stabilization of some indicators like $ vs. PHP, Oil prices showing that the fundamentals of economy are taken cared off.

Hello rsa101, I failed to watch it too but i will be watching it after that via youtube. the only problem is consistency because if the next President elected is corrupt we go back to dark ages indeed. we all know the problems of this country and it doesn't have to be that violent in the protest part, i hope his new start would continue. have a nice day

That is the challenge for 2016 when he would be leaving office for good. I think if given a chance I would like him to ran again but that is not allowed anymore in our constitution. The next president should be better than him and that is the difficult task we Pinoys would be facing if there is any around right now.
I think the present administration is a bit tolerant and police are advise maximum tolerance that is why these protesters are also maximising their effort to take advantage of this. I think they wanted a scenario that police are brutal in dealing with them that is why they have to do all of this things. They think peaceful protest would not be effective enough to send their message to the administration.

For me, the rallysts are wasting their time and effort in every SONA. Their usual points are already known. We could not solve poverty by doing demonstrations, but by our own hard work and perseverance. We should not rely everything to the government. It is doing their job if they can.I believe in the SONa. Many of us who were poor are experiencing progress.Through hard work, I have more investments and have business establishment within just two years after graduation.I am an example of an improved economic condition. My education was my key in getting job offers.I hope that the rest of the poor emulates.

Hello Mimiang
, unfortunately these are uneducated people who wants more to show violent reactions than just mere protesting. the problems cannot be solved right away. with right innovative actions and hardwork can prove filipinos contribute, those in the protest are not. something that the poor will never understand

Honestly I am not so updated with his current improvement regarding to his works as President but I still believe that he is still doing his job. I am not believing to the rants of other people that they keep on saying he didn't do anything in our country as if they are also cooperating for our development of our country. Joining rallies and make a protest wouldn't really work all the time because sometimes it is just waste of time and effort. And yeah I don't really also like what the protesters are doing as if the problem will be solved if they attempt to kill Pnoy!
I am still believing and optimistic for Noynoy.

Those communist-leaning protesters have made protesting their full time job and they will find any issues even when the economy prospered. Some of their gripes may be legitimate, but whats ridiculous is they want everything free as if the government has a bottomless well full of money. The problems besetting our nation are caused by years of corruption and incompetence and we can only blame ourselves for voting in hooligans instead of leaders in the public offices.

Hello greenpeas, that is right only ourselves is to blame for allowing crooks to run the country. people are just wanting to get some thing for their daily needs and doesn't care about principle, we can't help them they are just trying to survive. the president can never do it alone and too bad most of our people rely solely on the government to feed them

I'm not a PNOY fan myself coming from a small city that produced the richest congressman and senator in the whole Philippines that ran against him
, Seriously I am beginning to see his honesty and sincerity and that bright tinge of intelligence that he might have inherited from he's father (Ninoy) and the being real thing from he's mother (Cory). Yes it won't work within 6 years but somebody has to lay down the right foundations that in my opinion the past administration had failed to do in 10 years
. The protesters, I would rather ignore them cause in my opinion, they do not represent the real sentiment of the Filipino people otherwise I would personally join them ( I wonder who finances them???)

Hello Louievill, So do I but you got to admit he's really doing his best to do what the country has given him a chance to do. unfortunately, he is not as smart as his father but you never really know if he was good or not. am sure they have been financed all the way otherwise they wouldn't make something that they can burn with. have a nice day

Hello Bhabycatch
, I wasn't really trying to be mindful of the SONA. but I've kept hearing the applause and claps from all sides of the hall. So, I got curious, seemed he's doing a great job to boot.you're right, it's the individual responsibility that would make this country great again. Have a nice day
