Hey everyone. So we all have our favorite clubs. So tell me how you first became a fan of your club. Here's my story anyway. I'm just new to football actually. I started watching football during the 2010 world cup. It was weird because I still didn't know many rules and many players. I was supporting Spain and finally got to know some players. But I still had no idea what 'clubs' were back then. But I started enjoying football. And than on my birthday, one of my gifts was Fifa 11. I was so excited, I didn't know anything about it yet, I even thought that Wayne Rooney on the cover was Iniesta. But It looked really fun! Suddenly I realized something.. I didn't know who to play for! There were so many clubs and what i saw were just some strange logos. So I just scrolled down, and then side, and then down, and then side. And then stop! I landed on F.C. Barcelona. So I played with them and then I realized that I knew some of the players! So I started playing a season with Barcelona, researched more about football and Barcelona. And than now I'm a huge fan. So that's my story of football, what was yours?

I have supported Manchester United since 1979. My - I have supported Manchester United since 1979. My favorite player's Eric Cantona
I am a Manchester United fan since 1979, the year where we lost the FA cup to Arsenal after we came back from 2 goals down in the 85th minute only for Alan Sunderland to score the winner for the gunners in the last minute of the game. That year's FA cup final was also the first time ever that was broadcasted 'live' in my country, Malaysia. They also had a series before the FA cup took place called "Road to Wembley" to show how the two finalists reached the final. So I was exposed to every match that Manchester United and Arsenal played right from the third round matches until the final. Although I am a big admirer of Liam Brady, it was Manchester United that I fell in love with. Over the years, my team has gradually established themselves as the strongest team in England. There have been many memorable matches but the one that I always remembered vividly was the 1999 UCL semi final second leg away to Juventus (First leg 1-1) where we were 2 goals down in the opening 11 minutes. Eventually we scored 3 goals and won the tie 4-3 in aggregate and entered the final where we beat Bayern Munich 2-1 also with last minute goals. We won a unique triple that season. My all time favorite Manchester United player is Eric Cantona. I like his style. I like the way he played. I like his aloofness. Of course there are many more players that I like. They have been good to me as a fan. They delivered.

I like Manchester United a little. Not really, i'm a fan of Chicharito, Giggs, Rooney and De Gea. And yeah, Manchester United comeback vs Bayern Munich was nice. I have never heard about Liam Brady, I'm just new to football so I don't really know the great players before but I know some really famous guys like Maradona and Cantona.

Steve Coppell is also one of my all time Mancheste - Steve Coppell is also one of my all time Manchester United favorite players.
I am certainly not young :) and you are certainly not old :) Manchester United has had Dave Sexton, Ron Atkinson and Alex Ferguson as manager since I became a fan. It does not seem that long as I can still remember quite well how I felt when I watched the teams of those times. Steve Coppell, Gordon McQueen, Lou Macari, Mickey Thomas were the players I like in the early days...

My favourite would have to be the rival of F.C. Barcelona, Real Madrid! My story was actually almost similar to yours, I became a real fan of football when I started to play FIFA 10 and that's where I found out about Real Madrid (I'm a CR7 fan, hehe). Originally, my friends taught me about football way back in elementary. Anyway, I like the Azkals too! But right now, I think they need to develop better skills so that they can advance to the World Cup someday. Keep safe and keep playing football!

Haha. I thought I was the only one with that story. So are you playing football in real life now? Haha. Azkals forever!! Are you from Philippines? Azkals should work on their U-22 because their U-22 is terrible! At least u-14 is good. Haha.

Haha. I play just here in my house with my siblings. And yes, i'm so happy Philippines has a national team that is famous. U-22 is bad but there is u-14 coming up. They beat Australia u-14 so that's a good sign. I think many other players are interested to play for Azkals already. I hope Ian Ramsay (Phil Aussie playing on Australia's league) will decide to join Azkals. And also, do you know Izzo Elhabbib? He wants to naturalize himself so he can join azkals. I'm not sure if a naturalized player is a good idea but if he does good than it's good!

Sometimes I would go to the park and play with people. But I don't play in a league or anything. Haha, I agree! It's good to see a football team from the Philippines cause most of the time if people ask about sports in the Philippines, they talk about boxing or basketball. And yes, I was born in the Philippines! :) Your right, their U-22 is pretty bad but hopefully someday more good players will become interested in playing for Azkals!

Haha. I never really watch Serie A. But I know that many players went to Roma two seasons ago? You know, Bojan, Stekelenburg. When did they join roma? I don't really know much about him but I know that Totti stayed there all his career. I even watched a video with all his goals one time.

I have been supporting Arsenal FC since 1989. In fact, it was their dramatic win at Anfield on the last day of the season that kick start the love affair, not only Arsenal but with the game as a whole.

Hehe. I like Arsenal but they are not my favorite club. It's nice that you stayed with Arsenal all the way from the invincible season to many trophy-less years and many star players leaving. Do you think Van Persie will stay?

I don't think Van Persie will stay either. He even insisted to not go to Malaysia (it said on the news). So where do you think he will go? Manchester United? Manchester City? Juventus? Me, if he had to go, i'd like him to go to Manchester United. I don't think Giroud is Van Persie's replacement as well. They should get a really good striker. Somebody that can do what Van Persie did last season. So sad if Van Persie leaves. :(

Personally, I don't think Van Persie will extend his contract. Wenger should sell him off to the highest bidder before the start of the season. Don't misunderstand me. I would have like the Dutchman to stay but since he has stated that he will not sign a contract extension, then he should be sold asap. If the deal drags on, we could have the fiasco at the start of last season. And also, with the extra cash, the club can and must use it to get proper cover. Sorry, but I don't think Giroud is RvP's direct replacement.

My favorite club is Arsenal football club since the last decade or so. I also like the two spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid. Initially during the Galacticos era I loved Real Madrid, but with the emergence of Barcelona under Riijkard I started following them. At the country level my favorite has always been Brazil. Cheers! I am a Liverpool fan the reason i started supporting them is because my Godfather is from Liverpool and Liverpool isn't that far from my home town. Most people in my hometown either support Liverpool or Manchester United.I would have chosen to be a Liverpool fan any way despite my personal connection to the citydue to the passion of the fans and the amazing history of the club.I can understand why you support Barcelona they are a brilliant team and they are unique as they are owned and run by their fans not some fat cat millionaire.

I'm a FC Barcelona fan since I was 5 years old. It all started when I comeback home with my dad and I turned TV on the sport channel. I saw Barcelona players with colorful uniforms and I really like that as a kid. Besides, my dad was a soccer player so I started playing at a very young age, so when I saw the game of barca with players like Rivaldo,Guardiola,Luis Enrique and of course xavi and puyol, I fell in love with the team cause they were doin really awasome things that I wanted to do and ever since I'm a big fan of FC Baarcelona=] I also enjoy watching games of Manchester City,Arsenal,Valencia and Milan.

I know first who brought football from the outside is David Beckham, I rather liked because there are Mancehster United's David Beckham, and I continue to deepen my knowledge of football. Then I get to know football and become pengdukung Manchester United. But when David Beckham moved to Real Madrid I became a fan of Real Madrid as well, and continue to see the development of Real Madrid and I am certainly a supporter of Real Madrid without forgetting Manchester United. Now Beckham play for LA Galaxy LA I am also a supporter of the Galaxy. So I was a fan of the club which is defended by David Beckham from Manchester United, Real Madrid to LA Galaxy.
