Where's the best place to write a book?

Where do you often go when you write a book/journal/poetry? As for me, I often go to the beach. The breeze and the smell of the salty ocean just give this soothing and relaxing effect. I don't mind if the beach is empty or full of people - as long as the breeze and the smell of the salty ocean are there. There's something about looking at the horizon while you're thinking about what to write. I've been to gardens, empty cafes, libraries... It's not the same! So, like, where do you go?

I like staying in my bed when I write or read a book. My bed makes me feel comfortable and I will not feel too tired.

I wish I could. I usually just stretch and sleep when I'm on my bed. LOL. Good for you! :)

When you write a book, the best place is a calm environment with cool air breeze with just few people creating few noises. I usually read or write an article in our terrace because it relaxes me and no one distracts me on my work. Places like beach, rivers, top of the mountains can help widen your imagination and can make your work easily.

I could not agree more. I am glad that you're comfortable writing in your terrace because when you want to take a break, you're near the kitchen or the bathroom. As for me who likes sitting a few feet from the shore while writing, well, you know. LOL. :)

Yes I like to write a book at the beach as well,I like the breeze and the smell of the salty ocean very much just like you,but I have something different from you is when there are lots of people at the beach and make so much noise, then I can not focus on writing,so I need to some quiet place at the beach.

I must agree that writing in a quiet place can make you think and focus more. Most of the time, I prefer the silence. But I must admit, too, that having people around helps give ideas on what to write about on the next pages. The sight of their clothing, smile, and movement. The sound of their laughter, argument, conversation, and etc. Those really help when my mind goes blank. Or if you want to remember something, those people can fill in the blanks. Have you ever experienced that? I did. :)
