I would like to visit Vigan, ilocos sur

i have seen on the television on kris show how beautiful it is. although this kind of beautiful place is just common in other countries. but in the philippines. that is such a beautiful place. the buildings are more of historical houses of old spanish houses and the streets are clean , total contrast what we see here in Manila. and the place is not too crowded. i have heard that there are so many tourists on that area and there is a lack of hotels. so i guess they should have at least few hotels there for tourists to stay. so i hope that i can have the chance to see that place as well.

Hi hotsummer! I have been to Vigan before and you are right! The place is really gorgeous and it has the antique feel to it. It was several years ago though, I hope they kept it the same all these years. When I go back to visit that place, I hope to find lots of calesa and I hope that the capiz houses are still around! It always reminds me of Dr. Jose Rizal.

Wow,sounds really a nice place to go.For me,i really wanna go for traveling these days to have a relax.But honestly,i do not have enough to go.Such beautiful places always make me think of good things,however,life continues,we should still find the beauty that around us.

Hello hotsummer. I haven't been to Vigan because the last time that my office organized a teambuilding there, i am not available so I make an excuse. From the pictures and stories, I know that it is a great place. But my 15 years old daughter will be going there this August 22-24 to attend a Journalism Workshop. If she will win on Friday, she will compete for a quizbee too. I hope she does, because if thats the case, the school will pay for her expenses. This is the first time that my daughter will travel without us and I am very much worried. But I don't want her to missed this opportunity, it is not only for the grades and the points but especially, it would be an experience that would last for a lifetime. I Hope you would find time and opportunity to have a vacation at Vigan. Goodluck!
