How Will I Show My Appreciation

One day, our new friend, a staff from the office next door, the office of the legislative secretary asked me if I want some green mango. Before I could even reply, my group mate said yes. So immediately, he brought in a dozen or more of green mangoes and put it on the table. Upon request of my group mates, he peeled the mangoes right away.
There are times, even we are not around, as there are times we have to got to other town to conduct surveys, he would bring in some food to the office and my supervisor would talk about it when we came back. I really appreciate him for being kind and helpful that even my group mates also like him. My supervisor would sometime tease me that somebody will surely cry when I leave this place.
Before I leave this place, as we will be staying here for less than two months from now, I would like to give him some token before we go. Can you give me some suggestions on what kind of token should I give him? Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

It depends. Did this staff from office next door likes you? Did the 2 of you went already for a date? Do you like him? Just a clarification though coz if this is the scenario then a big YES is all he needs. If not, then a present I guess is nice.

This is funny but I just appreciate him for being kind and nothing more. That is why I would like to return the favor before we leave the place. We will not be staying here for long.

In reply to your first response, well, actually, I know he likes me because of the things and acts he is showing to us, I mean to me especially, but I should not entertain it. I am too old for this. I just don't why they don't notice it? lol.

Sometimes, thinking what token can be given to a person is really hard to do. You might think if he/she will really like it.
Try to think of the things he uses daily or something he can use in his work. I guess he will still appreciate everything you will give to him. A quite expensive pen will do as a simple token to him.

Hi friend, good to hear about your new friend, as you mentioned he fulfilled your group mates desires, surely you must show your gratitude to him, just find out his favorite thing and give him as a surprise gift, he never forget you and your group mates.

I know there are many gifts that you can think of but sometimes it tends to be so common and would only bee appreciated at first. But it won't leave a memory. For me, if I want to receive a gift from someone else, I want something unique and new. Why not try a caricature portrait for him. For sure if that would be displayed in his house, he would truly remember you because seeing his face cartoonized is a funny experience. Hope it could help.

Depending on how comfortable you guys are with each other. You along with your friends can take hikm out for a nice evening dinner or lunch, or plan a formal outing with him as per your convinience. The pictures taken on these occasions can then be mailed to him. Should be some lovely memories for the other person to cherish.

I just would not like to suggest you which token can be grace ful to him, but wanna suggest that the token you gonna give hime should make him to remember you forever, and token that you chose better based on his own interest / hobbies relevent.
other People also think to gift him some so keeping the view of others interest and try do made up your mind clearly while chosing token.
Your token always made him to recall his memories with him
