I feel so sorry for my friend who's supposed to have her wedding this October. We were so excited for the event. I was going to be among the secondary sponsors and my daughter her flower girl. I even planned to buy a dress to wear as early as next month.
Unfortunately, her scoliosis got worse and her doctor advised her to undergo the surgery this time. She would have to get 2-3months bed rest after the operation, and its going to cost her a lot. So, they would have to use the money they saved up for their supposed wedding for the operation costs.
Well, I would just pray for a succesfull operation and fast recovery. The wedding should come soon, as love can wait.

That's true. What good would a wedding be, if her health is at risk. My poor friend.. I hope things will be a lot better after the surgery, and Im hoping it doesn't have any ill effects on their ability to bear a child.

Scoliosis surgery doesn't affect the ability to conceive or impede the ability to give birth.

That's good to know. Perhaps, its other health factors, then. She's really skinny and even if she eats a lot, she just won't gain weight. They've been trying to have a baby, but no luck.

Once she has the operation and has properly recovered, they can wed. Then, she will actually be able to really enjoy the ceremony. If this ceremony would have proceeded as planned, the day would likely have been marred by discomfort for your friend; I expect that such curvature has to be uncomfortable.

You could be right. Her discomfort may have just created a problem and she wouldn't enjoy it as much.

Certainly there is wisdom behind the incident. No need to be regretted. Humans only plan, but God disposes. Please convey my greetings for your friends. I hope her surgery a success and was soon well again. May the marriage can take place with the plan better.

Thanks. Right now, all I can do is pray for the operation to be worthwhile. She's really skinny and her back has really swiveled to the left. Stress from work made it even worse.
