One of my hobby is watching movies. I had watched all the kinds of movie mostly actions and comedies. One night i was watching movie with my husband in our room. Its an action movie. My brother came in and watched with us. He was late and was not able to watch the first part so he asked my husband "what happened to them?"then my husband answered back."Who's that guy" another question until my husband explained almost everything about the movie. Because i was with them, i can't avoid to hear them speaking and i ended up confused to the movie. I missed a part of it. :( is it right to have question and answer while watching a movie? c'mon...:(

I know exactly what you mean. I really hate when someone can't stop asking questions about a movie that they walked in on. I'm usually the one who ends up answering all the questions and it really annoys me but I always try to be nice and answer as quickly and thoroughly as possible. Then again, it's usually my mom asking all the questions.

that's funny and annoying at the same time... :) its ok to ask question but not like you want to know what will be the end of the movie. hehe :)

I swear, that's exactly what my mom does. Even if it's not a horror movie she'll just ask "is that guy going to die eventually?" and I just facepalm and try to ignore the question.

Argh I hate that, I can't stand people talking during a movie. I just tell them to shut up and watch the darn thing OK depends who I'm talking to but in the house I do anyway but when they do it in the movie theatres that is so frustrating!

Oh that reminds me, I also hate the ones that have seen a movie before when you haven't and then they keep talking. "Oh you'll love this bit" "Look out for the bit when. . " "Ohhhh yeah I rememebr that scene" I just want to slap them, they just ruin the movie

Before I met my partner, I watched movies by myself. I don't want to be asked questions, that's why. When my partner came along, I was first annoyed with him trying to talk during the movie. But later on, I found it enjoyable. We have short discussions, guesses, and sometimes even bets about what is going to happen next. Sometimes we share comments about the movie. We make sure not to do it loudly in a theater. We usually whisper. I guess it's not nice to be asked and to have to explain things to people while watching, but having a healthy discussion is good.

Specially its a suspense mystery thriller or something like that. Its very bad to talk in between. we get disturbed and the mood is destroyed. Its totally a mood killer. I dont like to sit with people who talks during a movie. thats my funda.

I believe your brother did not meant to disturb you and your husband. He was interested in the movie and at the same time want to spend more time with both of you. Of course, it is not very good too to talk during a movie as it would really affect the other audience especially those sensitive to noises. Perhaps you can joke about it next time and he will get what you want him to do.

People talking when im trying to watch a movie annoys me aswell.Though at least it was the film he was asking about i would probably have found that less annoying. If it was me i probably would have paused the film and explained to him what he had missed and then have carried on watching the film.I can understand how it made it harder for you to have followed what was happening in the film.If somebody is having a conversation close by it is hard not to listen to it however hard you try to switch off from it.And you can't really listen to and understand two different things. That is one of the reasons i like to watch movies alone as my mum tends to ask a lot of questions. The other reason being our different tastes in films.

I know exactly how it feels. I have some friends who keep on talking in the theater and it is so annoying. I miss important lines because of their constant jabbering sometimes. When I watch a movie I would like to watch it in rapt attention and discuss afterwards, not pass comments while watching it. But some will not change their habits. So now I am watching movies only with one friend who likes to watch the movie with attention like me.

I totally get you. There are so many annoying people and they are mostly in cinemas. It is either they do not put their phones on silent mode or they talk very loudly while watching the film. This is the reason why I prefer to rent or buy a DVD and watch it inside my room alone. I feel like I can watch a movie better when I am alone. I am also not embarrassed to cry if the movie is really sad or touching. Happy mylotting.

That's terrible, but my brother had it even worse. Remember the time when "The Ring" was so famous? Well, I wa watching it on dvd and my bro has seen it in theaters. When we get to the best part he's still spooked, since we watched it at night and we decided to switch off the lights. All of us started shouting in fear, but my bro, these are the stuff he shouted: "oh no! Sadako's coming! He will be killed next! He shouldn't have watched the video! That's how the curse goes round!" Upon hearing him, I immediately lost interest as there's no more element of surprise. That's why from that day onwards, we don't let him watch with us if we know he has seen the movie.

If you are patient enough to hear people talk while watching movies. I understand what you feel and where it is coming from, it is inevitable to feel irritated.
