Sad to know I can't participate much today

I was so busy the whole day attending to some personal and office tasks. We were in the clinic the whole morning for the immunization of my baby and I was called for a re-scheduled CBA negotiation meeting in the office in the afternoon. I was supposed to be on a whole day leave but our meeting was moved earlier today instead of Friday so I was forced to report to office.
We have just finished our meeting and it ended up not good. We had a deadlock. But anyway, I think I cannot discuss this for now because I don't have much energy left after what happened.
It's getting late but I just want to spend at least a few minutes to write this just to say Hi...
That would be all for today. See you tomorrow!

Thank you ravisivan. My baby is a boy. He's already 6 months yesterday.
We have a Union in our company and it is our re-negotiation period for our Collective Bargaining Agreement. The Mgt offered very low and unreasonable salary increase to us supervisors. whereas they were able to offer higher increase for our rank and file. And ever since our negotiation started last March, they did not give any improvement. They bundled our negotiation with our pending Union case, which should not be. They are indirectly telling us to drop the case but we cannot because it is our right. This is considered bargaining in bad faith. Oh well, all is done. We just need to raise it up on a higher arbitration level. Department of Labor will now come in to mediate us.

yes. you have explained nicely. But in these difficult days, unionism is at low ebb in many countries. I do not know about philipines. i wish your problems are sorted out and your company makes progress. What is manufactured in your company.?

In the Philippines, Unions are acknowledged and respected. Even the management is welcome when they heard us forming a Union before.
yeah... I also wished everything will be settled peacefully in no time. nobody really wants to have dispute. but we just need to fight what is due to us. we are fresh fruits exporter. :)

Hi friend, so you are in busy schedule and don't have time to post here. Good to see you are still posting a topic in your busy time. Don't worry, you will get time tomorrow or after wards and you can post your comments to the replies. Take care
