Green House as we all know, and a debate that proclaimed a world to emboss several protocol to stop this menace. But certain countries stepped back because they think that it hampers their current development of their economy. One protocol that I remember is Kyoto Protocol that was commissioned to reduce their smoke emission but failed to achieve target by most countries especially developed countries. Now the world is seeing its effects, about 97% of Greenland ice sheet has melted down since last may of this year. I don't know about what happened to 2012 dooms day year. But what I know there will be a certain dooms day in near future If it continues like that. The sea will rise, less land to settle on, less land to go for agriculture, more people to feed on, more people will die of hunger, more infants death, more drought, less amount of drinking water, higher Tsunami effects. And what's more back to dinosaur ages end like situation. Dinosaur had their end with meteorites strike and volcanic activities as the scientist predict. What I predict is humans end would be with water, and that would be done by its own hands. What a feat humans had achieved. I don't know what people are thinking and what do they next. What I know that I am still alive and I don't know what will be my future and how will it go and when I will die.

Hey thanks for this informative post. Yeah the ice sheets are melting at a faster pace than before and this is an alarming sign for all the living beings as it can potentially increase the level of water bodies, submerge the coastal areas and at last would lead to massive devastation. We have to take immediate steps to avoid this phenomenon.
