I'm not saying that I am a closed person. In fact, I really like talking to people. I personally do not have many friends, and still with them, more or less always the same conversation!
Happily speak with people who know little.
This introduction to tell you of my daily conversations with Mr. Giovanni, who is my neighbor here on vacation.
I speak gladly with him, that that is clear! But he would talk about any topic, just the time! Sometimes, however, does not mean that I have always wanted to entertain a discussion. then also depends on the time of day.
What is clear, Giovanni is a person with whom it is easy to immediately establish a friendly relationship with each other.
But since, like I said, I do not always want to entertain discourse, it often happens that when I see him, I have to ignore it and "hide" to prevent him involving me into a long discussion, perhaps in moments when I do not I need to talk.
Between him and me, there was never a hint of speech dispute, but, dear reader friends, try to understand me. If at any time of day someone would constantly talk to you, this would give you a little discomfort?
Tell me, behaving such, maybe I should feel a bit rude?

HaHa, I hear ya! I understand what you're saying and isn't it awful that you have to hide from him? I did have to chuckle at that.
I do have a neighbor where I live (apartment next door) who will talk my ear off. It starts with one discussion and he ends up telling me the same thing he did weeks ago. We already had those conversations and here I am, sitting at the kitchen table, listening to it all over again.
PLUS, he talks really slowwwwww. There is nothing wrong with him mentally or anything..he just drags his words out and repeats and repeats.
I even tell him sometimes, "Yeh Chuck, you already told me that" and he still goes on.
Fortunately, he doesn't come over too much.

Well, then I assume that people who love to talk, as in my case, Mr. Giovanni there are many!

Yes, there are many. I guess all we can do is smile and listen and be nice. And hide when we can.

You are quite understandable my friend as i do feel that way too. There are times when i do want to talk and could gladly lend an ear to a nonchalant friend too but then there are also times when i am not up for it and how i wish i would be spared...but there are also times i get caught up and cannot escape and all i do is smile and think of an excuse.

Well, I usually love to chat, but the times where I "hide", are those in which I do not feel I am starting a long, long conversation.
I certainly do not hide it out of malice, that this is clear.
