I want to but I can't...

Yup when i have a good book with me, i really want to finish it in one seating but of course i have work to do so i have to either read it at night but sometimes i cannot as like you i am tired too and all i want is to sleep, during daytime i also cannot read it as well i have work too, sometimes it is that frustrating not being able to read it. Usually i can read it if the kids are already asleep or during weekends, on Sunday afternoons.

Oh wow, I am never too tired to read. Like you, I can't read if there is a lot of distractions, but I also can't sleep right away, so that is when I read. In fact yesterday I finished and started another book, and it was so interesting, I had to make myself stop reading..lol

I like to read on my break at work....usually my time is interupted by someone who just wants to visit. I have taken to going outside the building just to read!

Yes, it's quite difficult to concentrate when your environment is noisy. When I read, I want no noise around me. It's reallyniceto read but I also don't have timeto read during the day. At night, I feel too sleepy so it takes me a long time to finish reading a book. I hope you'll find some quiet time reading yours.

Yes there have been many times I have not been able to read. Often it is not because of outside circumstance but because of the way I feel inside. Its frustrating that sometimes I will want to read but then I will feel mostly depressed or that my mind is working far too fast to sit down and try to read. I hope that you're able to read because it is a very rewarding and nice experience. It is also quite relaxing for me when I can do that. I love reading more than a lot of things but because I can not practice or do it regularly then I do not get to often. Its kind of one of those things you need to put in your life if you want it, otherwise, it just will not be there. I wish you luck.

Yeh, I learned that one in my younger days when the kids were little. Reading only came when they went to bed or were at friends houses. I use to read all the time and I really enjoyed it. Mostly romances and spoooooooky! Ew, I get the chills thinking of some spooky books I read, all by myself, at night, living alone with my daughters. Wow, I'm making my own spooky book right here, lol!

I have had those types of problems reading! Sometimes I take a book to work. Where I read sometimes the tv is on and that distracts me! If that doesn't happen I will get interrupted by others taking a break the same time I am! They start talking to me and I hate that! Ugh! So when I take a book to work I take my break when I know others aren't so I am not distracted!

No. I have always had a way to be able to read. If noisy, I use earphones. If there is still a task, I soon finish. Tired of not making me off reading. At most, I fell asleep before it finished.

Hi friend, Yes this has happened with me on multiple occasions. A lot of guests and relatives visit us and I am just in the middle of an interesting novel and I have to stop reading it midway and hope to read when they leave. I leave it with a page mark and keep fidgeting as to when I can get back to reading. I am quite a book worm but only when it comes to reading story books,fiction etc and not study related books.Of late I am reading a book that has some of the selected short stories from renowned authors. I have ordered a new book online and waiting to get it. It is Fifty Shades of Grey. I do hope you would get some time to read the book soon.

yeah many times..hahaha..especially if its a medical surgical books my gosh i don't want to read. but sometime i should read even though i could not because i know later on i will love to read.

Even I do not have children yet, I can not finish reading a book. I like a book and has a lot of it. But working from 8am to 7pm every day, 6 days a week is really tiring. I really miss the time I can read a book in one night (in my school days).
