If you consider earn some extra cash from your idle car, why not rent it out through relayrides. You might heard of this name, and as matter of fact, many people already doing it now. Those GM model vehicle with onstar system can be used on relayrides, the website usually collects 30% of the fee, which include $1 million insurance coverage on your vehicle, and people who let their cars rented out can earn around $10 per hour on average. Why not, that is a great program. Oh I forget to mention, with onstar program, the people who rent the car can unlock the car through a short text message through their smartphone, that is something cool isn't it?

hi, there are many people here who been rented their car out for an extra cash, but i think this kind of business or earning is still depend upon the person who have owned car, because for me if i have a car either idle or not i will never offer to rent my car even they will pay because i dont know how they can take care my car.

I could never do that. I think it is a better idea to rent yourself as a driver for someone than to risk having something happen to your car. No matter how much insurance a company has, you will not get another car or even a temporary one instantly.
