August 1st Chick A Fil A apreciation day?! Take a stand! ( a rant)

On August 1st if you are against gay marriage , go eat at a Chick Fil A ! Their owner has been giving money to organizations who are trying to keep gay people from marrying.I heard it said best by Eliot Spitzer, He said, "if you see gay people as second class citizens, eat at Chick Fil A." He said also he will miss having lunch at Chick Fil A. Me? I stopped going years ago when I first heard that the owner was taking the profits and trying to block equal rights for gay Americans. Why go there when KFC has good chicken too? So this August 1st I will not be going Anywhere Near a Chick Fil A. But like everything you do , it is up to you. Have you ever boycotted a company or a product because of their stance on an issue?

Dan Cathy did not say anything to condemn gay marriage. He supports traditional marriage, which is altogether different. The media took a flying leap from there and made it sound like he was anti gay marriage.
I wish we had Chick-fil-A. I'd love to support them.

Trying to make marriage That narrow Is infringing on the rights of gay people. That Is the point. The next thing May be that Only Christians can marry and then the rights of many others will go away. The media is just reporting it. And am I glad they did.
I wrote this so if you want gay people to be second class citizen you know where to go and eat Just as much as for people who see gay Americans as Americans first with the Same rights as the rest of us can stay away far away. I don't know where you live Peavey , but if you are in Chicago , you may Never get a Chick Fil A . And Alderman is saying no to another being built. But if you want to support this, send your money to the owner . I know he will use it the way you want.

The happy employees will still have their jobs but if Chick Fil A thinks they can expand into the big cities where, oh My G-d!, the gay people are they are so wrong!

Chik Fil A has some good food. KFC's is so greasy. But I totally get your point. They've been getting a lot of press over this. I don't eat there a lot anyway, but if I want something from there, I'll go anyway. However, I have boycotted companies in the past.

I had a KFC when I was young. I didn't get a Chick Fil A near me until? the late 90's. It is in a mall but KFC is less than a mile away from it. And there is another KFC a little further. One could go to the mall and Not see Chick fil A, which I now see as a good thing! Besides I never liked Chick's french fries. And at KFC there are biscuits and real chicken pieces not just nuggets. They will Never get any more of my money.

I really don't see what's wrong with Gay Marriage. Though some religions forbid it from happening, religions ever since the beginning of time have caused many crusades / battles that have still been happening today (in this case, the middle east.)
I haven't gone there, but knowing now that he is against it, that wouldn't stop me from going there. I'd go there, but it's a last resort. (because I don't even eat there :P) It's as much as when the Nabisco company showed their colors with the Oreo.

What happened with Oreo?
I have a Chick Fil A within walking distance and I go , by bus/car to a KFC. I haven't been there in 2 years and I feel so good about it.There are two restaurants I will never go even if they were the last food on earth, One is chick Fil A nd Subway.
