Who thinks Eminem is the best lyricist in rap?

Eminem is so unique in his own way of rapping. His the best white rapper. he got lyrical content in his lyrics and thats the most catchy to the listeners. He is not scared to express his own feelings in the song whether his mad or happy. I just loved those songs.

Eminem is pretty sick don't get me wrong but he hasn't been doing music lately. if you want a great LYRICAL rapper listen to Tech N9ne. his raps are crazy and he has songs with meaning and stories of his life. if you havn't heard of him its just becuase hes like underground but is coming up Rapidly. he has a saying tech wont go mainstream, mainstream will go tech which is true becuase lil wayne even reached out to him, just becuase he is that good

I think Eminem is the best.and he's rap are much more cool than any rapper.that's what I think.and I really enjoy to listen to his music.every beat are cool.

After responding to the discussion right before this one I asked my son if he thought that Eminem was even a rapper. Or is he a lyricist. We both agree that he is a lyricist and pretty good in the fashion that he can tell a story and you can feel what he is saying, regardless if you have experienced what he is saying. He also can make any word rhyme. I cant give any specific examples because he said it when he was in an interveiw with Anderson Cooper. But he made something rhyme with Orange..he is very clever and I think highly of him. I think its really amazing how a good lyricist can make poetry and a story into a song.

i love lil wayne and all his music. i think jay-z okay i guess.but the best is Eminem i just love the way he raps i love all of his lyrics to his songs. he is very different not like them other rappers. i don't know any one that rap better then him. he very unique with the way he ryhmes.

I gotta tell you that the first time that i listened to 8 mile,i became a fan of eminem ...I never listened to rap music before that but it was to change.He is totally different from the other rappers.The way he puts out the words is totally unbelievable. You can see that in all his songs there is a story attached;something missing from most other rapper's songs.The freestylling part,well you said that :)... For me its shady all the way....

I couldn't agree more. I believe that he is "the more intelligent" rapper compared to others. A rapid-fire delivery of lines makes him the best. I would just like to emulate his style in writing. Thanks. Welcome to myLot.

Yes for those rapper I like Eminem the most,I could not tell which one is the best rapper,Jay-z and lil Wayne also doing a good job,but there is one thing definitely,Eminem is the most handsome and cool guy in all of the rapper.

For me it's Eminem hands down. He's got his own style and despite the cussing or some of it, there's a storyline in his raps. Unlike most of the other rappers who turn out to be shallow.
