Indonesia
July 26, 2012 1:58am CST
Everton parties announced that they were canceling of his return to Indonesia. At first Everton goal coming to Indonesia is to follow the Java Cup 2012. Everton party giving reasons for the cancellation was due to the lack of explanation of the replacement team Galatasaray, who resigned. After this incident, the question arises, what exactly happened to the failed European top teams coming to Indonesia? How Did the professional managers of Java Cup?

Looks like a massive dis-organization by the organizers. For soccer fans of course this would have been disappointing. But take heart more and more top teams are coming to Asia for their pre-season tournaments. Cheers! Ram

As a football fan I would judge that the organizers in Indonesia is not ready to host an international match, a team that has been known by many people anyway. I agree with you, of course, many are disappointed with this, but hopefully with this incident be a lesson and will not happen again for the next.

I agree with you, this is an embarrassment not only to PSSI, but also for our country, PSSI show the world, if they are not professional, well managed udh shambles.

I think in the future more european sides will be coming to asia to play as the fan base is huge and more asian players are involved in european teams, meaning the top european teams will go over to play to help support there overseas fanbase. As indonesian football isnt a world class standard at the moment and the money perhaps isnt so tempting, everton maybe thought it wasnt a good idea. But in future seasons i see more premier league teams will be going to asia and indonesia.

Looks like it like that, where now many European teams are busy chasing bermai-asia market, known as the nation's lucrative market for superter known as the base team. It could be that Everton failed to Indonesia because it may be as you say, they think no one will benefit them when it comes to Indonesia. But next season may be more of a coming European team, and plans if the negotiations were really berjala smooth, Barcelona is one of the teams that will come :)
