Hello LOtters, Looks like it. How did it come to that? was the department looking for a surplus that is obviously easier to buy and use, regardless of its quality? or probably some cash in the drawer took place and didn't care to inspect it? So sad because now, they found out that most of these weapons bought from the supplier were DEFECTIVE?! would have been a good if the BAD COPS gets the defective ones but you never really now..good cops and the best ones can be in jeopardy because of this. maybe they should bring a knife or practice being knife thrower just in case

Hello CTHanum, I've heard throwing knifes is extremely difficuilt but some how it can be a great help when you trained yourself to it. besides, during ancient times, people were so good at it but you know it's not bad either if they are use in these times because you get the chance to surprise the enemy

The old tactics will always work regardless of age. They would not expect that you are practiced and have those skills. They will get surprised to it.(^^)

Hello Visavis, they will do anything to impress the public thinking that it can be rushed. though thanks to louie here to have clear things up, we have gotten used to the fact that the government never got it right and has always include corruption in every that they do.

Same thing would have happened with the knife they will procure; defective! ;) It was indeed shocking, are our own police force really that...incapable of checking their number one tool in doing their job before they okay-ed the purchase order? (and I don't mean the one that's attached to themselves haha!) I hope somebody gets to be held responsible for this; it's one thing if they have a shortage on their supplies but it's another when they have all that money wasted for scrap metal. I wonder what "Ka Indo" will say tomorrow on this issue...

Hello RAine38, well, at least most of them will be cheap since kitchen knife can also be use as a weapon of choice.hey, who is this ka indo? if he has a show on tv i haven't watch it yet. well, it's been cleared up that some bidders failed because of some requirements and others are having their fire arms tested for good quality
