Well i do not know anything about cooking so have never tried my hand at it. But i have seen my mother throwing away the burnt items as they are very much unhealthy for us. It do happens while cooking so we all have to be focused while cooking in order to prevent such hazards.

yeah we have to take lot of care since it can be very dangerous. Many things can happen in a fraction of a second. Have a good day.

It happens to me more often than I'd like to admit and usually it's silly things that I burn. I have a bad habit of turning the stove on too high with soup to heat it up faster, but I tend to forget to stir it and it burns.

Yes when you don't stir for long that it starts burning in the bottom. happens to me too.

It sounds like you need to pay more attention to what you are cooking. You shouldn't be burning food quite that often, not even if you are just starting to learn to cook. I've been cooking for years, and I enjoy it. I have turned myself into a rather good cook. However, I'd still love to hone my skills more. I find myself eying cooking classes. Right now, most of the ones from which I could truly benefit are a tad out of our budget, so I will have to hold off on them. However, once there is some room in the budget, I intend to be off to some good cooking classes.

I love cooking also. Not an expert but these days this is happening. either i get caught up in some conversation or I watch TV and forget what am cooking. I need to take care for real, Otherwise any accident can happen. So today until I finished cooking, I was in the kitchen.

lol. The last time I burned something was 2 hours ago! I was reading in mylot and forgot what time I put the fish in the oven. It was frozen battered fish. When I took it out it was heated burnt fish! Actually only the bottom was a little black. I just cut that part off. It was hard as a rock. No smoke or anything, though. Just partly burnt fish.

It happened to me also the same. I was engrossed in responding to discussions and forgot what I kept on stove. It was beef in pressure cooker three days ago. Bottom had become black. So, I removed the top part which was okay. lol. Must take more care now. have a good day

I was actually melting chocolate last week, and I only looked away for a minute. I usually never leave the kitchen because I forgot boiling water many times before. I have a garden too, and I grow corn, beans, peas, carrot, eggplant, cukkini, cuccumber, and have about ifty chinckens and three dogs.

It doesn't happen alot but I have even been forgetting I have boiling water on the stove at times, unless I use my timer. The other day I was trying to make some breaded slices of eggplant and the phone rang. I thought I would be on and off of it and then able to come back to the stove quick. It wasn't that long but it still was too burned and I had to throw it away unfortunately. I luckily have a lot more eggplant right now though as I grew it from the garden.
