I am going to have to find a source of coconut oil! I love coconut anyway and the oil would be great for my baking and other cooking. It might even be beneficial for my health problems!

Yes, it could be beneficial. Between the ginger, avocado and this plus other different things I have been exploring that are new to me lately, I could use them all for a year and see if it makes any difference in my health problems. I may try to get them all next on my grocery list.

Here in Kerala coconuts is the one of the mains tree which you cans see on large varieties. Due to this simple reason we have a large amounts of
coconuts which helps us to get natural product like natural coconut oil. We Keralians use this oil for baking as for other simple uses. Really it plays an major role in the preparation of many Ayurveda medicines

That is true coconut oil has many benefits not just only for Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis, but coconut oil also helps on our skin, hair and it can also be one of stress relief, as well as maintaining the cholesterol level in our body..
For some health buff these can also help in weight loss because it promotes proper digestion and metabolism..

Yes it does have all of those benefits. I had in mind to buy some months ago but never got around to it. There was always something else I wanted to get on Amazon, but maybe I will break down and buy it on there with my GC balance. I just don't want to buy something useless again.

Here we had virgin coconut oil the price much same with virgin olive oil. They made it without heating it. This one we usually use for medication. Not the one derived from copra because its already oxidation and usually used as cooking oil.
The Virgin coconut oil also can handle high heat so its really safe to used to fried but but the price quite expensive for me.

It is from a long time that people have been using coconut oil in cooking, before any other oil came in the market or was discovered i guess. It is proved to be very much medicinal. When I was around in my teens, I used to get pimples on my face, my grandmother used to tell me to apply coconut oil and all will be fine. And she was right. It is good for cooking also. My granny is 90 plus but she is very fit still. I think coconut oil has some contribution to it.

Yes, I have heard that it's been popular since the end of time. It seems so many cooking items that we had been using back in the day are returning and making a comeback saying they are better for us like this. I'm just wondering if ten years from now the "experts" tell us it was bad for us again. But if your granny who is 90+ has been using it forever then perhaps it is a product worth using. I didn't know it was even good to get rid of zits (pimples).
