Given the chance, would you prefer to know when is the date of your death?

Because death is an inevitable aspect of life that we will all experience, i wonder what people will choose if they were given a chance to know when they will die. (although genuine psychics can also predict your death.) Will they opt to find out when or not? How we will die is another thing, since the future isn't set in stone, so the manner of how we will die will be subject to change. If you ask me, i would prefer to know so i could prefer for it spiritually and to maximize all the time that i have on this earth. I will do what i gotta do, and tie up loose ends, if there's any. I will cherish every moment that i spend with my loved ones and tell things that need to be told to the people who need to know some things. Anyway, how about you, would you prefer to know when you will die or not? Why or why not?

I dont want to know i have enough anxiety issues without worrying how many days i have left. i think if you have loose ends with people you should fix them as soon as possible not just because you think your going to die. And you should always work on your spirituality because you never know when your going to go.

Yeah maybe, well that's ok everyone had there own opinions on things. I am not one to say who's wrong or right. Its probably good that you aren't Afraid of dying though because so many people are.

Hmm, I think I would prefer to know so that I can make full use of the time that I have left. I would want to know when I die but not the way I die, I mean, who wouldn't be afraid to know the way they will die? Imagine you got to know that you will die in an accident, then you will have to be anxious and scared every time you get out of your house, etc. But by knowing the time, it's different. I can complete and do everything that I want before I go into the other world. At least, I can leave without any regrets.

No I would not want to know that at all. I have to say that if I did I would go crazy lol. I would be counting the days basically and that is really scary. I would rather just go when the lord removes me than to know what day and time I am going to actually die. I feel sorry for people that go to the doctors and they try and predict that, I am sure that they are scared out of their minds. I know i would be scared if a doctor told me that I had like 2 months to live. I will leave that up to God and leave it alone.

Ah but if you have cancer or some terminal disease then it is inevitable that the doctor will give you a given time frame of how much longer you will last. I think those people are prepared for it in a way, given that they know they have a terminal disease. But in your case, since you aren't sick then you can enjoy your peace of mind by not knowing, lol at least you won't panic each and every day that passes by.

I don't want to know when I will die. Here is why. When I was younger I played with the Ouija board and asked stupidly when I would die. It said when I was 27 I would die in a car accident. I am 27 years old now. This has haunted me for a LONG time, since I asked. This year especially, I am terrified and I wish I never asked that question. I know it was a stupid board but it still bothers me to some extent. I hope I will turn 28 years old and then I will be able to finally let go of that thought. But right now, it still scares me... =(

Wow that's quite an experience. Playing with the ouija board is dangerous since the bad spirits may haunt you long after the seance, and i heard stories that it may kill the participants. Anyway, i hope that what that spirit said in the ouija board isn't true at all, maybe it was just scaring you don't you think? Although we can't really help but be scared especially if you obtained that kind of info from the ouija board, all we have to do is pray to God to protect us and give us guidance in our everyday lives. I would consult a psychic if i were you to verify that it was just a demon or bad spirit that is playing a prank on you, although you might be more terrified by diving deeper into that topic.

I'm at a point in my life right now whereas I don't care, bring it on. I have maybe 20 more years of life left or less anyways at almost 50 yr old. I don't want to live past 50 most days little own past 70. The world is going downhill fast it seems and it sux, I just don't want to be a part of it anymore like I use to feel like.

No way. That would make me sad and jittery the whole time. It is good though to be ready but I don't want to do a countdown on the last breath. It would be impossible to function normally with that dark knowledge in your head.

Yeah you got a point there, if you would be stressed and anxious about it then it would be much better that you don't know about it right? But if the event was to happen 30 years from now then i'd probably be more "relaxed" about it, lol.
