I think I have gastric.

I forgot to have meals sometime and I tend to eat at inappropriate times. And now I seem to have develop gastric pains. Does drinking lots of warm milk helps or any other drinks or food helps? The reason I forgot to have meals because I'm to engross with my work and at same time I also forgot about the timing.

Don't starve yourself, never do that. No matter how busy you are you have to attend to your stomach. Gastric pains I think can't be cured by drinking warm milk. In fact according to my doctor, we have to refrain from drinking milk when we have ulcer or any stomach upset so I believe it won't really help you. Instead of drinking milk, just rink lots of water. Also eating garlic will help. It prevents stomach acidity. Apple cider vinegar is also very effective. I've tried this and it has really helped me get cured of hyper acidity. I add a tablespoon in a glass of water and drink it at least twice a day.

All this while I thought drinking milk helps because it's no my idea it's my family's idea. So all I have to do is to drink water? Okay I'll get a big glass of water right now. But I don't have any cider vinegar or garlic right now and I'm not allow to go out alone..

Eating Banana would also help you especially if you are experiencing heartburn. It will also coat the lining of your stomach thus preventing stomach ache.:D

Hi TrinityDownpour, Although the stomach is a tough organ one must never overlook its requirement. When you're hungry your stomach will let you know so don't ignore it. It's always best to eat regular meals as the stomach tends to produce acid in anticipation of food to be digested. If there is none then the acidic digestive juice will in time 'corrode' the stomach lining resulting in gastric pain and ulcers. If this is not corrected or treated it may led to stomach cancer later. However, do not despair on reading this. It is not that bad as long as you take action to correct this bad habit of forgeting your meals. Also try to be stressed as stress can cause you to lose appetite.

Unfortunately it's hard not to be stressed and yes you're right about being stress can make one loose an appetite because it happen several times. Maybe I can set an alarm for my meal time.

oh no! don't drink any milk or juice if this happens. always have a candy with you, this will signal your brain to wait for your meals and let your stomach acid go crazy. always have a candy with you especially because you are a workaholic person. if you will have time, go visit your doctor if you feel that you already have hyperacidity. then the doctor can prescribe you medicines.
